Carmen González, Manager of Trademarks and Brand Intelligence at PONS IP, has been included in the ranking of the top 250 professionals in the world of intellectual property according to the specialised publication Managing IP, known as Top 250 Women in IP. This recognition, which in Spain only eight women in our country have been included this year, is added to her consideration as Trademark Star 2024 this year by the London-based editorial.
This special publication, which was launched more than 10 years ago, recognises the leading intellectual property professionals at the highest level in private practice who have performed exceptionally well for their clients and companies between September 2023 and February 2024 from more than 50 jurisdictions around the world.
With this inclusion, the current manager of the Trademarks and Brand Intelligence department of PONS IP reinforces her consideration as one of the most renowned trademark lawyers in Spain and internationally, with nearly 25 years of experience in intellectual property and linked to PONS IP since 2007, where she started in the firm’s International Trademarks Department. At present, Carmen González has been the vice-president of the Official Association of Intellectual Property Agents (COAPI) since 2021.
