PONS IP, an IP consulting firm specialising in Intellectual Property services, will take part in the INTA Annual Meeting 2026, to be held from 2 to 6 May in London, an event that has established itself as the leading international forum for networking, debate and strategic decision-making in the field of intangible assets. The event will bring together more than 10,000 professionals from over 140 jurisdictions, including legal advisers, in-house legal counsel, business decision-makers and institutional representatives, at a time of profound regulatory, technological and economic transformation within the IP ecosystem.
Organised by the International Trademark Association (INTA), the 2026 event takes place at a pivotal moment for the sector, with Intellectual Property establishing itself as a strategic asset for business growth, directly linked to innovation, competitiveness and risk management. Over the course of the five working sessions, key issues for the future of IP and its impact on business will be addressed, such as developments in IP law, the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, data governance, international trademark protection, and the management and monetisation of intangible assets.
PONS IP’s participation at INTA 2026
Once again, PONS IP will be attending INTA 2026 with a strong delegation of seven professionals and a packed schedule of meetings, with the aim of contributing to the international debate and strengthening relationships with key players in the global intellectual property ecosystem. The consulting firm’s delegation will be led by Isabel Cortés, Director of Institutional Projects, and Guillermo Criado, Director of International Business Development, both of whom hold strategic roles within INTA’s own organisation.
Thus, from an institutional and policy perspective, Isabel Cortés is a member of INTA’s Famous and Well‑Known Marks Committee, one of the leading bodies of the Association in defining the criteria and policies relating to the protection of well-known and renowned trademarks. Their participation in this Committee will enable PONS IP to attend the various scheduled meetings and contribute directly to the analysis of legislative developments and regulatory proposals in different jurisdictions aimed at strengthening regulatory consistency and legal certainty for rights holders operating internationally.
In turn, Guillermo Criado , a member of the INTA Bulletins Correspondents Pool since 2026, will contribute legal analyses, regulatory follow-up and commentary on current affairs to the INTA Bulletin, the sector’s leading publication. Through this role, PONS IP plays an active part in disseminating specialised knowledge and contributing to the international legal debate, linking professional practice with key regulatory and market trends.
Alongside Isabel Cortés and Guillermo Criado, the PONS IP delegation is rounded off by the presence of five other leading professionals, including Rocío Peris, the consulting firm’s Commercial Director, along with Juan Camilo Amaya, Assistant Director of PONS IP Colombia, and the team of consultants specialising in industrial property within the International Division, including José Pons, Jialin Chen and Carlota Sánchez-Céspedes, who will carry out a busy schedule in London focused on knowledge-building, targeted networking and identifying opportunities for collaboration. This schedule will include meetings with companies, clients and potential partners, as well as leading law firms, industry associations and other key players in the IP ecosystem, with the aim of strengthening strategic alliances, anticipating trends and passing on this knowledge to clients in the form of strategic advice offering high-value-added solutions.
