For the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid, the need for specialization, the legal sector’s complexity and its digital transformation were the main reasons to create a new Legal Department within Club Cámara Madrid. The initiative aims at bringing legal solutions to companies on the most current matters, and was possible thanks to the support and expert advice of Club Cámara’s sponsor partners, ISDE and Wolters Kluwer. It was made official today after the signature of the agreement at the Santoña Palace by Ángel Asensio, president at the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, José María Alonso, chairman at the Bar Association of Madrid (ICAM) and Miguel Garrido, president at the Madrid Business Confederation (CEIM).
The new section of Club Cámara Madrid was created with two objectives: first, to offer companies a series of high-quality specialized services through reputable firms that provide confidence and efficiency to companies. Second, to strengthen the positioning of a selected group of firms representing eight areas of law.
Within these departments, the Real Estate Law Department will include ABENCYS Reestructuraciones and Roca Junyent; Bartolomé y Briones will handle Privacy and Internet; Iuris 27 will be in charge of Arbitration; the Intellectual Property and Unfair Competition specialty will fall on PONS IP; Criminal Business Law will be handled by Quercus & Superbia and Vicente Tovar; Commercial Law by RSM and Vaciero and Sports and Entertainment Law by VCGH Abogados.
