Our Office in Bogotá obtains a double recognition through our partners at La Salle University, thanks to the award for best R&D+i work and subsequent patent granted to the research team of Jairo Vanegas Gordillo and Daniel Abdon Varela, with the support of our Patent Engineer in Colombia, Nicolás Carvajal Reyes, for the creation of a new waste management system.
Through Resolution 36785, the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce granted La Salle University a new patent under the name of Cellulose Recovery Process from industrial waste containing cellulose.
This is the second patent awarded to research work from professors Daniel Varela and Jairo Vanegas, which aims to separate waste derived from industrial waste and other waste resulting from the agricultural industry.
This new work presents an advantage since it is based on the circular economy, and applies the concept of sustainability in its three dimensions: Environmental, economic, and social.
