ECTA, European Communities Trademark Association, held the 42nd edition of its well-known Annual Conference in Antwerp, an event in which Isabel Cortés, Director of International Projects at PONS IP, actively participated as a member of the “International Trade Committee”, along with other notable professionals specialised in industrial property and trademark management from leading law firms throughout the European Union.
The choice of Antwerp as the host of the gathering did not happen by chance, since this Dutch city is an international example of sustainability policy management, circular economy and sustainable mobility. Thus, within this ideal framework, the nearly 1,000 professionals who attended the conference had the opportunity to share experiences and practices with public decision-makers from the WIPO, EUIPO, as well as the Dutch Government, discussing the role of industrial property in promoting sustainability, the management of diversity and inclusion, the fight against counterfeiting, and the impact of artificial intelligence.
Once again this year, PONS IP consolidates its presence as a leading global IP consulting firm thanks to its continued participation in these technical forums. In this setting, it offers the firm’s vision and practices regarding the evolution and future trends of Intellectual Property, in addition to reinforcing collaboration with its network of partners to offer clients excellent defence and protection worldwide.
