PONS IP, a global consulting firm specialising in intellectual property, has joined the Seeds of Bravery project, a European Union initiative within the framework of the European Council’s support to assist Ukrainian technology startups. The project, with a budget of €20 million, aims to promote the technology industry by supporting innovation that benefits end users in Europe, Ukraine and beyond, connecting companies and governments in favour of SMEs and individual customers, and where the management of intangibles plays a key role.
Thanks to the involvement of Isabel Cortés, Director of Institutional Relations and Projects at PONS IP, the intellectual property consulting firm held a series of mentoring sessions to clarify doubts about industrial property. It also served to advise these startups on asset protection strategies and the international extension of technological developments driven by Ukrainian startups through patents and trade secrets.
This project, in line with our CSR policy, reinforces PONS IP’s commitment to fostering the protection and defence of IP as a lever for the development of a country’s business and economic structure, which in the case of Ukraine has become critically important for the economic survival and growth of its entrepreneurs.
