PONS IP, a global consulting firm specialising in Intellectual Property, has announced the launch of a new section on its website, called “Intellectual Property Case Law”. This section is a space for reflection and analysis of some of the key national and international judgements related to the areas of practice in trademarks, designs, patents, new technologies and data.
Intellectual Property Case Law will be a valuable resource for legal professionals, as well as for companies, academic institutions and entrepreneurs operating in innovation, technological development and creation environments linked to intellectual property, facilitating decision-making in the development of strategies for the protection and defence of intangible assets. In this way, and on a monthly basis, the new section will be regularly updated with new analyses derived from the publication of judgements with an impact in Spain and Europe in the field of intellectual property and new technologies. The authors, who are recognised specialists in the field of intellectual property law and practice, are part of the PONS IP teams in the areas of Legal Advice, Trademarks & Brand Intelligence, Patents and Innovation Consulting Areas, thus guaranteeing a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to the analysis of each case.
With this initiative, PONS IP is responding to its commitment to disseminate knowledge and support the professional community, thereby fostering an ecosystem of shared knowledge in the sector for all those involved in the protection of innovation and creativity. In addition to providing information, this section will also serve as a space for reflection on the challenges and opportunities posed by a national and European legal framework that is constantly evolving in response to disruptive technologies and new business models that will undoubtedly have a direct impact on regulation and on intellectual property, as well as on data governance.
