PONS IP has been included in the British newspaper’s prestigious list of “FT Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2024”, a ranking that has been compiled since 2019 by the renowned economic news source, Financial Times, in collaboration with the world’s leading statistics portal, Statista. Only 10 other firms in Spain join PONS IP on this exclusive list which, in this edition, considers the performance of the 208 leading European industrial property firms specialised in patents in 6 areas of economic activity: Chemistry and Pharmacy, Biotechnology and Food, Materials and Nanotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and IT and Software.

Along with the prestige of a news source that is an international benchmark in offering economic information, the very methodology created by Statista and FT for the study and development of the ranking reinforces its reputation and independent nature. In fact, since 2019, this list does not accept candidate nominations, but rather its study is conducted independently based on the responses to surveys completed by both professionals and companies. A total of more than 7,200 recommendations from 3,500 clients and professionals in the sector at the European level were taken into account for this year’s study. In said study, PONS IP was spontaneously mentioned a significant number of times, thus earning this IP consulting firm a spot for the first time on this list that is so important for the entire sector.
