PONS IP, a leading consulting firm specialising in comprehensive advice on industrial and intellectual property and new technologies for Spain, Europe and Latin America, and the Packaging Cluster, an organisation that brings together more than 100 active members among companies, knowledge centres and entities that represent the sector’s entire chain of value, have signed a collaboration agreement between both entities. This agreement will allow Packaging Cluster companies to receive free advice on industrial and intellectual property management and special conditions on fees with the aim of jointly promoting the competitiveness of member companies through the knowledge and use of industrial property as an ally for company growth.
The agreement will allow members associated with the cluster to receive advice from PONS IP professionals in any of its services related to the management of patents, industrial designs, technological development, data protection or the valuation of intangible assets, among others. Moreover, for any relevant action performed by the consulting firm, each partner will receive a discount on the consulting firm’s fees, which will make it easier to correctly manage all the innovations developed by the more than 130 associated members.
The relationship between both entities will also favour joint organisation and participation in events or training sessions that can provide knowledge about issues involving intellectual and industrial property and technology transfer, with the aim of expanding market intelligence and the use of asset protection strategies in the packaging sector. These legal remedies will lay the foundations for safe and up-to-date activity in accordance with the intellectual and industrial property management requirements for the Packaging Cluster and its members.
