Nuria Marcos, General Manager of PONS IP, has been included in the fourth edition of the ranking “100 Leading Women in the Legal Sector 2026”, promoted by Todojuristas.com. The publication, released to coincide with the week of International Women’s Day, highlights careers that inspire new generations of legal professionals, emphasising the diversity of roles within the legal ecosystem.
With nearly 30 years of experience in intellectual property, Nuria Marcos has spent her entire career at PONS IP, progressively taking on positions of responsibility until she was appointed as Managing Director in 2012, in a career that reflects a personal and professional commitment to leadership based on strategic vision, meritocracy and innovation. From her current position as Managing Director, she has led the transformation of PONS IP towards a model intellectual property consulting firm aimed at generating value for clients in a constantly changing technological and regulatory environment.
With a law degree from the University of Valladolid and postgraduate degrees in Commercial Management and Marketing from ESIC and Intellectual Property from ICADE, Nuria Marcos has consolidated the company’s leadership in the sector by incorporating marketing strategies into the legal field and strengthening areas such as technology transfer, strategic consulting and process digitalisation.
Under her leadership, PONS IP now has a team of 140 professionals and the trust of more than 27,000 clients, with a prominent international presence thanks to its historic leadership in European Union trademark applications and continued recognition in international industry rankings.
