Our company collaborates in the 2nd Edition of the +50 Entrepreneurship Awards that reward projects led by professionals over 50 that face the COVID-19 pandemic

Generación SAVIA and the 02:59 films production company will launch the 2nd Edition of the +50 Entrepreneurship Awards with the aim of fostering business projects developed by people over 50. SAVIA is a project carried out by the Endesa Foundation in collaboration with the Máshumano Foundation. The initiative, which received more than 320 applications in its first edition, aims at strengthening the entrepreneurial network of professionals over 50.

The value of the awards for this second edition amounts to 18,000 euros in cash (10,000 euros, 5,000 euros, and 3,000 euros for the first, second, and third places, respectively). Besides, PONS IP will contribute by providing several advisory services to the winners, including full advice on due diligence to outline the best intellectual property strategy for the three winning projects, helping them value, protect, and achieve profitability in all intangible assets.

Professionals and experts in the entrepreneurship field will be part of the Jury, chaired by Leopoldo Abadía. In addition to the evaluation criteria adopted to select winners in the first edition, this Jury will also consider the projects’ ability to help in the fight against the effects of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The call for the 2nd Edition of the +50 Entrepreneurship Awards will be open from 18 June until 15 November 2020. During this period, applicants can send their ideas or projects by filling in the specific form posted on the website http://50emprende.es/. The website also includes the legal terms and conditions of the call and the evaluation criteria the Jury will follow.
