Isabel will be joined by a distinguished panel of international experts, including Mar\u00eda F\u00e9 Lazarte<\/strong>, Senior Trade Mark and Technology Counsel at The Weir Group in Australia; Sheetal Patel<\/strong>, co-founding partner at LeonardPatel in the United States; and Patrice Vekemans<\/strong>, co-founder and CRO of the Belgian company Fovea IP, who will share their insights and experience on the impact of these technologies on the present and future of the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Isabel Cort\u00e9s\u2019 participation in this forum comes at a key moment in her professional career, following her recent appointment in 2024 as Chair of the INTA Harmonisation of Trademark Law and Practice Committee<\/em>, where she is also the only Spanish representative to head one of the association\u2019s 19 strategic committees. From her position, the Director of Projects and Institutional Relations at PONS IP<\/strong> has been coordinating the analysis of international treaties, agreements and regulatory proposals for over a year, and represents the positions of INTA before relevant authorities and organisations worldwide, as was recently the case in Nice at a workshop with OAPI professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to this prominent role in the academic programme, PONS IP<\/strong> will be represented by a large delegation of seven professionals assigned to this meeting in California.
