The Spanish Federation of Technology Centres (Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Centros Tecnol\u00f3gicos, or Fedit)<\/a>, is working together with the PONS Foundation<\/a> on an initiative called Conecta Tecnolog\u00eda (#conectatecnolog\u00eda)<\/strong>, which aims to facilitate the connection between Technology Centres, as R&D&I providers, and companies that need technological and innovation solutions to improve their competitiveness in certain strategic areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of the meetings included in this initiative, which took place this morning at the headquarters of the PONS Foundation, focused on the area of Mobility as one of the main sectors of potential future technological development. Up to 11 companies and 8 Fedit Technology Centres, such as: AICIA, CARTIF, EURECAT, FUNDITEC, IBV, ITENE, TECNALIA and TEKNIKER, participated in the meeting and contributed their technological capabilities in this area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the dynamic mobility landscape, a number of challenges are being addressed that demand innovative and collaborative solutions. Urban congestion, pollutant emissions, lack of accessibility and road safety are just some of the crucial issues that require strategic attention. Moreover, the need to integrate emerging technologies, such as transport electrification and automation, poses additional challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practical presentations of the technological capabilities in the area of Mobility of the Fedit Technology Centres were then given. The sharing of potential technological solutions was followed by a discussion between companies and Fedit Centres on the topic: \u201cPotential technological challenges in the Mobility sector\u201d, moderated by Rafael L\u00f3pez, head of Technology Transfer at PONS IP.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the Technological Challenge<\/em> of the new edition of <\/strong>meetechSpain 2024<\/a>, was presented. This is the most ground-breaking event of the Spanish innovative ecosystem, to be held in Madrid on 12, 13 and 14 June 2024, and will be dedicated to the participating researchers and technological experts proposing innovation solutions, in the form of brainstorming, to a real challenge related to Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concerning Conecta Tecnolog\u00eda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative comprises a series of face-to-face single-themed networking<\/em> meetings, in which participants will identify challenges or needs for competitive improvement, and the foundations will be laid to find potential technological solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
