PONS IP <strong>will participate together with other innovative companies, universities,<\/strong> and leaders in the sector to analyse <strong>innovation<\/strong>, <strong>research<\/strong> and <strong>patents<\/strong> based on the experiences offered by experts at the event. This will be the fourth edition of a forum that has already become a national benchmark event in terms of <strong>intellectual property<\/strong> <strong>protection<\/strong> as an <strong>economic driver.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the course of five days, <strong>leading experts<\/strong> will give talks, present technical sessions and participate in debates in an event that seeks to <strong>expand knowledge<\/strong> about industrial property among <strong>younger audiences<\/strong>, as well as show them <strong>the importance of necessary protection<\/strong> in research. Furthermore, it focuses on <strong>promoting<\/strong> the <strong>exchange<\/strong> of opinions and experiences between <strong>research staff and companies<\/strong>, encouraging the <strong>transfer of research<\/strong> results in order to maximise <strong>social and economic development<\/strong>. Lastly, it seeks to <strong>reinforce<\/strong> knowledge <strong>valorisation towards<\/strong> the productive and business framework so that it contributes to the technological advancement and development, modernisation, competitiveness and innovation of companies.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>day 4<\/strong>, from <strong>9:00 a,m. to 12:00 p.m<\/strong>Roc\u00edo Peris, Marketing Director at PONS IP, and Laura de Vergas, Intellectual Property Consultant at PONS IP, will lead the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patentsweek.ulpgc.es\/programa\">workshop<\/a> <strong>\u201cProtect your intellectual property or going beyond Innovation: What can intellectual property do for innovation?\u201d <\/strong>within the framework of the Marine-Maritime High Technology Incubator (IAT), in the Sala Lanzarote room.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That same day, from <strong>9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.,<\/strong>Amaya Mallea, Director of Legal Advice in R&amp;D&amp;I and Valuation of Intangible Assets at PONS IP, and Violeta Arnaiz, Director of the TMT, Intellectual Property and Software Area at PONS IP, will participate in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patentsweek.ulpgc.es\/programa\">technical seminar<\/a> in the Gran Canaria room. They will focus on two topics.
