This list includes professionals from the world of trademarks and industrial property, as well as those in journalism and communication. <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the second year in a row, ANDEMA holds the Javier Navarro Journalism Awards with the aim of promoting and recognising the work of journalists in disseminating and enhancing public awareness about the contribution of Industrial Property in general, and of trademarks and their holders in particular, to the economy and to society, in addition to the importance of protecting their rights to create value. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first meeting of the jury members took place this week at the association\u2019s headquarters, and here they reviewed the rules of the award and shared new features that were not part of the first edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year the award has two sponsors, both partners of ANDEMA: <strong>Banco Sabadell and Countercheck.<\/strong> Furthermore, another change lies in the monetary value of the awards, since prize money was not awarded to the finalists in the first edition. This year, the winners of each category will receive a \u20ac3,500 prize and finalists will receive a \u20ac1,500 prize.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the final list of members of this second edition was presented and it is made up of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rosa Tous, President of ANDEMA (TOUS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salvador Orlando, Vice President of ANDEMA (Louis Vuitton).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Luis de Javier, Vice President of ANDEMA (Bodegas Torres). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adela Lario, Treasurer of ANDEMA (Osborne).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Francisco Vall\u00e9s, Secretary of ANDEMA (V\u00e1lvulas Arco). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pablo Garde Lobo, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and President of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aida Fern\u00e1ndez, Director of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ignacio Larracoechea, President of Promarca.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pablo L\u00f3pez, Managing Director of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Juan Luis Antol\u00edn, Director of Communications at PONS IP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Juan Vald\u00e9s, Director of External and Digital Communications at Banco Sabadell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phil Hamilton, Managing Director of Countercheck. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Journalists who wish to be considered for the award have until 30 November 2023 to submit their work, which is the deadline for receiving applications. All journalism professionals who have published journalistic work in print, audiovisual or digital media that offers a relevant perspective on the importance of trademarks and\/or against counterfeiting from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023 may apply. The jury shall announce its decision in January 2024 after one month of deliberation.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like last year, two categories have been established: general and economic media, and legal media; and each category will offer a first prize of \u20ac3,500 and a second prize of \u20ac1,500.
