During the event we were able to learn several real applications that the future Metaverse will make available for the business sector, the different ways of funding in this highly disruptive world and how to protect intangible assets in virtual settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carmen Gonz\u00e1lez Candela, the director of the Brands and Brand Intelligence Department<\/strong> <strong>at PONS IP,<\/strong> our consulting firm that specializes in industrial and intellectual property, has given a presentation called \u201cThe importance of protecting intangible assets for their use in digital environments\u201d, using clear examples to show which industrial and intellectual property is behind several projects and what is the true importance of IP in the metaverse. She highlighted recommendations like <em>&#8220;it is essential to register our brands and protect our assets regardless of how much we speak about virtual environments, because they can probably have much greater impact in the medium to long term.
