The 2022 edition of the WTR 1000 (World’s Leading Trademark Professionals) is now official. This reference guide, which identifies the leading professionals and firms specializing in intellectual property worldwide, has once again recognized PONS IP<\/strong>‘s leadership in the Spanish and Colombian markets, both from the perspective of strategy and protection as well as legal defense in the trademark sector for its clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WTR 1000, <\/strong>in its section aimed at professionals, has also recognized the excellent performance, transversality and innovative capacity of three of our main specialists in the design of protection strategies in the trademark sector: Isabel Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, Head of International Legal Affairs, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain<\/strong>, Of Counsel at PONS IP and Juan Camilo Amaya<\/strong>, Deputy Director at PONS IP’s office in Colombia. The three of them are listed among the best professionals in a ranking where only the top one thousand specialists in the field of management and defense of intellectual property assets at a global level are included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding Isabel Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, included in the ranking uninterruptedly since 2017, the international publication describes her as ‘a smart portfolio manager who is in great demand in a wide range of sectors’. On the other hand, WTR analysts recognize Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain<\/strong>, with 25 years’ experience in the sector, for his ‘versatility and holistic approach’ to the cases he leads at PONS IP for its clients.
