Cort\u00e9s, a renowned trademark attorney specializing in European Union law, <b>has been collaborating with the company for more than 20 years<\/b> as International Trademark Director, up until now.<\/p>\n<p>With this appointment, the new head of International Affairs takes on the coordination of PONS IP&#8217;s overseas offices and team of directors. In addition, she will also manage the company&#8217;s relations with its <b>ne<\/b><b>twork of more than 300 associated offices<\/b> worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Isabel Cort\u00e9s takes on this role at a crucial time in the company&#8217;s internationalisation process, which began in 2015, with the opening of the first PONS IP office abroad. The company currently has offices in the United States, Belgium, China, and a LATAM Desk in Colombia, in addition to its six offices in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate in Law from the University of San Pablo CEU, Isabel holds a Master&#8217;s degree in Intellectual Property from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), as well as a European Master&#8217;s degree in Law and Economics from the Universities of Hamburg and Ghent.
