Guangdong is one of the most active provinces in China in promoting the intellectual property protection<\/b>. One of the major cities in the province, Shenzhen, frequently referred to as the Silicon Valley in China, is the birthplace of many technology firms which are the top PCT filers, such as OPPO, Huawei and ZTE.<\/p>\n
GDOIP<\/b>, short of Guangdong Overseas Intellectual Property Protection Promotion Association<\/b>, is a non-profit social organization and is under the supervision of Guangdong Intellectual Property Administration<\/b>. On the 26th April, GDOIP celebrated its general assembly in Guangzhou (capital of Guangdong province) and it has invited experienced IP experts from 20 countries and regions to join their Oversea IP Expert Committee<\/b>. Our colleagues, Isabel Cort\u00e9s, Head of International Affairs Department, and Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain, Of-Counsel<\/b> are honoured to be part of the Expert Committee and will provide their expertise to the businesses in the province on protecting their IP rights and dealing with IP disputes in Spain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
