Madrid, October 8 2021 – PONS IP<\/b>, company specialized in intellectual property, has added four new awards to its honors list following the first edition of the 2021 IP & TMT Awards <\/b>organized by the prestigious publication Iberian Lawyer <\/b>and held at the Four Seasons Madrid Hotel to recognize the work of the leading firms specialized in the practice of intellectual property and new technologies law.<\/p>\n
Specifically, PONS IP won four awards, one as firm of the year in the category “Patents and Trademarks” to which was also added the recognition of the work in the Intellectual Property (IP) practice, the DESIGN category and the FASHION LAW practice.<\/p>\n
The members of the jury on behalf of the publication took into account in their final decision the outstanding position of PONS IP in these fields of advice and management of patents and trademark portfolios, but also the relevance and profile of clients in the projects carried out by the firm over the last year. In order to achieve these awards, Iberian Lawyer considered the cases in which PONS IP successfully represented the interests of their clients in courts, both nationally and internationally. <\/p>\n
The awards ceremony was attended by the CEO of PONS IP,<\/b> Nuria Marcos, who collected both awards, accompanied by her Legal Area management team: Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain,<\/b> Of Counsel, Elena Ord\u00fa\u00f1ez,<\/b> head of Intellectual Property and Audiovisual Law area, Jean Devaureix<\/b>, head of the firm’s Patent Litigation Department, and Luis Ignacio Vicente<\/b>, Strategic Counsel at PONS IP.<\/p>\n
The aim of the Iberian Lawyer IP & TMT Awards <\/b>is to highlight the excellence of the legal market in the field of intellectual property protection, telecommunications and media. In an increasingly competitive market, according to the publication, intellectual property, also understood as the result of investments in R&D+i both by institutions and companies, is today a competitive and systemic factor with a strong impact on the growth of a company and the industrial system of which it is part.
