Two lawyers from PONS IP<\/b>, a global company specializing in Intellectual Property, have been featured in the long-awaited 2022 Best Lawyers in Spain\u2122<\/b>. Our Counsel Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain<\/b> has been selected as Best Lawyer in Intellectual Property Law, while Jean Devaureix <\/b>has been recognized in the Litigation category. Both have been acknowledged as the best professionals for their performance in Spain during the last year.<\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain<\/b>, Doctor in Civil Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property from the Autonomous University of Madrid, who is currently PONS IP’s Counsel, began his legal practice in 1997 and over the last 25 years has mainly worked in Intellectual Property at an academic and professional level. With extensive experience in lawsuits, arbitration and business advice, both nationally and internationally, Erdozain has worked for companies in different sectors such as textiles, audiovisual, creative industries, energy, construction and publishing, among others. Erdozain is also the author of several monographs and legal articles specializing in Intellectual Property in the main legal publishers in Spain. He has been invited as a speaker at various conferences and is a regular collaborator in the media. Jos\u00e9 Carlos Erdozain is currently a member of the ALADDA (Latin American Automobile Dealers Association), the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) and Les International organizations.<\/p>\n

For his part, Jean Devaureix<\/b>, the current Head of Industrial Property Lawsuits at PONS IP, has been recognized for his excellent performance over the last year after more than 16 years of professional experience as a lawyer specializing in intellectual property lawsuits in the main firms in the sector, before joining PONS IP<\/b> in 2018. Recently, he has successfully represented the interests of the Messi <\/b>or the Miley Cirus trademarks <\/b>respectively before the highest European courts such as the Court of Justice of the European Union and the General Court of the EU, but also has worked in recent cases related to patents both in the Supreme Court and in the Provincial Courts of Alicante, Granada, Madrid and Barcelona, among others.<\/p>\n
