PONS IP, a global consulting firm specializing in Intellectual Property, has appointed Patricia Ramos as Assistant Director-General, a position recently created by the company to consolidate the process of digital transformation, quality improvement and process optimization initiated in 2020 at PONS IP. <\/span><\/p>\n

Patricia Ramos will combine this role with her position as Head of the Patent, Technological Development and Innovation Department at PONS IP, a position she has held for the past 15 years, leading a team of 40 experienced professionals in fields such as biotechnology, engineering and chemistry, among others. Before joining PONS IP and until 2005, Patricia Ramos built her career linked to intellectual property in renowned companies in the biotechnology sector. <\/span><\/p>\n

Patricia Ramos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), as well as a graduate degree in Physical Chemistry from the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse, and is currently participating in the Promociona Project, the Executive Program Management for Women in Senior Management Positions promoted by CEOE and ESADE. Separately, Patricia Ramos has been part of the IAM Patent 1000 since 2017, the international benchmark ranking of leading professionals in the sector worldwide, thanks to her career achievements in <\/i>patent prosecution. In addition, the new assistant director-general of PONS IP has been recognized by <\/i>Leader’s League as an outstanding professional in the design of patent protection strategies. <\/span><\/p>\n

Patricia Ramos is a regular contributor to prestigious publications and seminars, and has lectured on intellectual property issues at leading academic institutions, including business schools, where she is currently a professor of the Master’s degree in Intellectual Property at the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) and the PONS Business School.<\/span><\/p>\n
